Katja Wodzinski

Born in the Black Forest, Katja has lived and worked in four different countries. After spending two decades in London, she has now returned to her hometown in Germany.

With over 15 years of experience as a German tutor and examiner, Katja has worked with countless private students and high-profile corporate clients, including Deutsche Börse, the Dutch Embassy, Coca-Cola, and VISA. She spent 10 years teaching learners of all levels at the Goethe-Institut London, where she also conducted official exams from A1 to C2.

In 2012, she founded Easy German, which has since grown into a thriving and steadily expanding language school.

Her lessons are both effective and enjoyable, helping students make rapid progress while gaining the confidence to speak. Many of her students stay with her for years — a testament to her engaging and results-driven teaching style.

Uta Rentsch

Uta, originally from Dresden, brings over 13 years of experience teaching German. With a background in German and English studies, she has taught English and German at renowned language institutes and universities in both Germany and the UK.

She is highly skilled in preparing students for all Goethe Institut exams, having guided countless learners to success.

Thanks to her extensive experience, she tailors each lesson to meet your unique needs and goals. Her aim is to help you succeed in learning German within a friendly and enjoyable environment.

Marlene Franke

Marlene comes from a small town in central Germany. She completed a Master's degree in Transcultural Studies in Bremen and completed a further education course on teaching German with the Goethe Institute.

During her studies and work, she focused on foreign language education and autonomous learning of language.

Marlene is a highly experienced language tutor with a diverse teaching background spanning Germany, Australia, and now England. Her deep passion for education drives her to inspire each student to reach their full potential. Marlene focuses on building her students' confidence and fostering a genuine appreciation for the German language, helping them achieve fast progress and a lasting connection to their studies.

Peggy Hecker

Originally from Germany, Peggy has lived, studied, and worked in China, Australia, and the US, and is now based in the UK. She holds a PhD in Linguistics as well as a Master's degree in German and American Literature. With over 20 years of experience, she has taught German to a wide range of students, from private learners to professionals, and is also a certified examiner.

Peggy currently teaches at a German language institute and offers tailored one-to-one lessons for all levels, with a strong focus on communication and real-life language use. Her international background helps her connect with learners from diverse cultures and understand their unique challenges when learning German.

Her students value her clear, structured, and friendly approach, and often choose to stay with her long-term. Whether you're preparing for an exam, improving your conversation skills, or learning for work or travel, Peggy’s lessons will help you progress with confidence and motivation.

Andrea Schweizer

Andrea is originally from Switzerland but spent her childhood and teenage years abroad, attending German schools. She is a qualified primary school teacher and has been teaching German since 1998 at schools in Switzerland, Chile, and Spain.

After moving to London, she worked for two years at the Goethe Institut, where she taught group classes and individual lessons for adults and certified as an examiner. She also co-authored a German Text book for children called Wuschel auf der Erde combining her passion for education with creative storytelling. The book aims to make learning fun and engaging for both children and their families. It's a tool to spark an interest in language learning and culture.

Currently, Andrea teaches German at a school in South London. She enjoys working with both children and adults at all levels.

Roxana Vasile

Roxana is originally from Romania and started learning German as a child. She spent a year in Germany as an exchange student, where she perfected her German language skills. She holds C2 certificate from the Goethe Institut and a Bachelor's degree in German and Spanish studies. She has been teaching for over 10 years at renowned language institutes and universities across Europe and South America.

She teaches people of all ages and is highly experienced in preparing students for all Goethe Institute exams, as well as the GCSE and DSD exams.

Additionally Roxana even leads teacher trainings and integrates modern, effective teaching methods into her lessons. She customises her approach to suit each student's unique needs and learning style, creating an engaging and enjoyable learning experience.

Kai Diers

Originally from northern Germany, Kai has taught German for over 20 years at renowned universities in the US, Germany and the UK. Currently he is teaching at top language schools in London. 

He holds a PhD in German Studies from Rutgers University, New Jersey, and has completed numerous professional development trainings, including a special course for teaching Young Learners.

Kai believes the key to learning German is plenty of speaking practice, paired with clear and precise explanation of grammar and useful phrases. With the right tools, German can be straightforward and enjoyable. His approach keeps lessons fun and relaxed while helping his students to build confidence and work hard.
